Our Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) program aims to improve and strengthen parent and family support networks by offering assistance in relation to various issues that families may encounter. Positive, early intervention can play tremendous roles in the emotional, mental and physical development of children – a tool that we have recognised and continually seek to reinforce. For this reason, we provide not only guidance but referrals to specific services based on the individual’s needs and desires. In doing so, both parents and carers are provided with the support to be future-oriented and aspirational for themselves, their children and the wider community.
Our current programs that we offer include:
Dee Why Grandparents Playgroup - 10am to 11.30am each Wednesday. 28 Fisher Road, Dee Why (at rear of New Life Baptist Church). This supported playgroup is an informal gathering for grandparents and their grandchildren from 18 months to 5 years. The playgroup is a great opportunity for grandparents and grandchildren to come together in a relaxed and friendly environment each Wednesday to connect, play and learn. Please contact 9982 6985 if you would be interested in attending.
Grandparents Support Group - 10am, 28 Fisher Road, Dee Why (at rear of New Life Baptist Church). This group meets once a month.
