Community Connect is a non profit community organisation which provides assistance to residents living in the Northern Beaches Council area.

Our programs are funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services and Department of Health as well as through the New South Wales government.

This government funding along with your contribution supports ongoing service delivery. 

Our Client Contribution Schedule for our programs is provided below.

Community Connect Gardening

Generally the fee will be $100 per visit.  However, the actual cost will depend on the size of your garden and the nature of the work to be done. Your garden will be assessed and you will be advised of the cost in writing at the time of assessment.

This fee provides you with between 5 and 10 volunteer gardeners plus a supervisor for four hours. We ask that you make payment on the day that gardening is carried out.  

Please Note:
In cases of financial hardship this fee can be negotiated and in some cases reduced or waived.

Caring for Carers and Multicultural Carers Program

Contributions for carers attending Group Meetings will be through an Annual Subscription based on 10 sessions being held per year.  Payment is made at the start of the financial year or on commencement with the program.  The subscription will be paid on a pro rata basis if not commencing at the start of the financial year.

Full Pension - $50/year
Part Pension - $70/year
Other - $80/year

Attendance at Information Courses (usually 3-4 sessions) will be charged at a rate of $20.

Please Note:
Unattended sessions will not be refunded.
In cases of financial hardship this fee can be negotiated and in some cases reduced or waived.
