Volunteer Expo 2018

An important component of National Volunteer Week 2018 which runs from 21 to 27 May, this annual Expo is a fantastic platform for those considering becoming a community volunteer.

With over 30 community organisations participating, it will showcase the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available throughout the Northern Beaches. Furthermore, the public will be able to see the services they provide and interact one on one with their representatives to find what volunteer role best suits them.

A special feature of next month's expo will be a celebration of volunteers and their pets, with a display of beautiful photographs by Jeff Dawson and accompanying stories by local journalist Susan Milne. The display will showcase volunteers and their devoted furry friends, some of them with their own "volunteer" roles, such as those that visit residents of nursing homes or act as companion animals to those with special needs.

You can simply turn up on the day, no bookings required.
